We have a long history of using people from other countries to build our houses. There is still a strong Irish connection although many of the specialist trades have been taken over by Poles and Lithuanians. That's why the Pope's coming to see us next year.If 98% of teenagers go to Uni who will be the workers who build houses? Digging holes, getting muddy etc?
Good question I often ask myself but all those students aren't going to get top jobs or be their own boss.


A lot will fall by the wayside or even want to do that sort of work.lets hope not everyone wants to sit at a desk pushing paper about.


Lets face it some are not bright enough to go to uni so those will be employed doing the menial jobs.If 98% of teenagers go to Uni who will be the workers who build houses? Digging holes, getting muddy etc?
If by some miracle 98% of teenagers in America went through and finished University, we would have enough smart people to make machines that build houses, dig holes, and get muddy for us.
