I need a plan that will help me get into better shape. I have a hard time getting the energy to work out and I need a plan that I can follow.What is a healthy diet and exercise plan for teenagers?
It's hard to come up with a plan without knowing your current lifestyle.
Without being too specific, here are some things to remember:
1. Don't cut out essential nutrients or food groups from your diet
2. Most of us tend to eat so quickly that we don't know when we're full - take your time when eating and you'll find that you have less room for food than you thought.
3. Get a good night's rest! We all need the energy for tomorrow.
4. Find an exercise buddy! It's a lot more fun to work out and get in shape when you do it with friends. Don't do the same boring things all the time, there are plenty of fun ways to exercise!
5. Don't ever skip breakfast. Try to avoid sugar-filled cereals, but breakfast is important to keep your energy up throughout the day.
And most importantly, keep a positive attitude! Getting in better shape is good for your health and your self-image too. If things aren't working out well, just try something new until you find a plan that fits your style.What is a healthy diet and exercise plan for teenagers?
My wife has been having really good success with the Weight Loss 4 Idiots program. I put the link in the source box below if you want to read more about it. As far as the exercise portion of it, we have been having really good success using the Wii Fit program for Nintendo Wii. It gives you a great workout plus is a lot of fun, so you don't really think of it as exercising. It keeps track of your weight and everything! I hope this helps.
