My niece will be turning 14 shortly and I hardly ever hear her talking about careers. I believe that she doesn't have a clue as to the type of career that she'd like to have, and that she needs some guidance in this area. I posted this question in the Books section but it got no responses so hopefully I'll get a few here. Polite, sincere, constructive answers that pertain only to the question asked please.What are some good career guidance books for teenagers?
While this isn't a book, the department of education in Georgia has created a very teenager user friendly career guidance website.

From there she can get some ideas about what she might like to do and then you can steer her in the direction of some books that would be helpful to her.
You might also want to contact her guidance counselor at her middle school or high school. Counselor's often have tons of information available.What are some good career guidance books for teenagers?
She is only 14, and I've known people who went to Oxford before they even knew what they wanted to do career wise.
What might be more helpful is if you paid for her to take a career aptitude test.
When her results came, discuss with her which she thinks would be best suited for her tastes. Then, buy a few books in that category of what she decides to pursue.
and keep in mind her age. She's still young, and there's still time for her interests to change.
