Why do teenagers nowadays seem to think that all their problems can be solved by narcotic influences?

For example, in the other question someone asked how to become more active and energetic - someone responded that they should take drugs.





Are people really so mentally inept these days that they lack the patience and subtlety to try and deal with problems without resorting to instantaneous short-term solutions?Why do teenagers nowadays seem to think that all their problems can be solved by narcotic influences?
Not ALL tenagers do its only a small amount who do im 18 an i dont jump to drugs at the 1st opertunity the problem is drugs are made out to be idlised and cool they think if they smoke joints evryday there ';propa gansta blood'; its the way society is nowadays teens are constantly being told were drugie,alcoholic, theiving hoodies who attack inocent pple all the time and thats how other people treat us so what do u expect us to do were treated like criminals eventualy ppl are going to give up and do were what were being acused of anywayWhy do teenagers nowadays seem to think that all their problems can be solved by narcotic influences?
the problem is most parents and schools either don't comprehend patience and subtlety or if they do, they are almost totally inept at raising kids to appreciate it.





meanwhile kids are freaking out about the fact that the world they are growing up in appears to be run by inept short sighted corrupt and selfseeking madmen, and 99% of the time none of the main sources of information that are reaching them are presenting any good role models.





or maybe i just watched fight club too many times....
um, i think these teenagers are spending too much time on the internet. They shouldn't take that advice.





also, most of their problems can just be solved by interacting with other people (FACE-TO-FACE) that can help them. This can include getting counsling or talking to someone who is close to them. Just imagine how much easier things would turn out if they just would release their feelings and get the help they need. If they were to take every single bit of advice from Y!A, they'd be screwed up.
drugs are just an easier way, im a teen nd i dont do them so dont act like all teens do. but the people that do them are just taking the easy way out nd some ppl just do it cuz it makes them feel good or there bored and live in a small town with nothing else to do. it sux whenu live in a place where all the jobs are takin nd u have nothing to do when u hang out with friends, nd drugs just give people something to do

expect good kids with very irresponsible parents? where woud they go , nowhere .Before we blame our kids , see first to ourselves if we are worth as parents. Shelter and foods and is not enough.
The issue is not short-term solutions, the problem is these days
